So much has happened,not the least of which was replacing my much loved Courier New font with Futura (where have you been all my life!). &So now it’s December in 5 minutes which means that Christmas is precisely seven &a half minutes away! I had planned on letting y’all know that we were attending the inaugural TWR in Sydney this September,but the last month was pretty much sucked up into the black hole of getting prepared to attend said event! The last few months in general have been mayhem,producing the current range- shooting it,showing it,distributing it- whilst simultaneously running the OK OK retail outlet- stocking it up for Summer,viewing ranges,keeping it purdy etc..etc..- AND designing,sampling,perfecting the colours and shooting AW12 for showing.. I said mayhem right?? Well. We got there in the end. With a kick ass range of 7 new colours and 8 styles of Socks and Hosiery. Hands down it is the best range we have done to date. Ready to take over Women’s legs the world over? Check! It is too soon to show you guys the range just yet (though you might spy some indicators in the pics I’m putting up) but here’s a little visual diary of our stall,our friends and the event that was,The Wearer’s Right.. Oh,apologies that these look as though they’ve been taken with a phone. But well,they have so,y’know.. All I want for Christmas is a digital camera- take note friends! The genius that is Formichetti shocks and awes me. What a vision. So true to Mugler,vivid,otherworldly.
The black and white format for the campaign pictures just works so beautifully. Photos of Rick just don’t look the same when you can see the flesh colour as the contrast to his ink work.
In store at OK OK this week,in various colours. Baggu! How could anyone not fall in love with you with a name like that. Adorable. Simple.
